This morning I totally passed out on the floor!!
I fainted for the first time ever! Totally weird experience!!
Yes! You read that right! Yesterday was a VERY active day for me and my family – a great fun day!
However, I think I over did it. My upper back was very tight and I knew that I needed to relax it. So, before bed I took a hot shower to relax it… it kind of worked (but not really). I ended up going to sleep anyway.
At 3:30 AM I woke to nurse T-man. I could barely get out of bed! My upper back was so tight and I felt as if I had pinched a nerve/muscle. PAIN!
When T was done nursing and fell back asleep, I placed him in his bed (next to ours – instead of back in bed with us). I laid in bed on my back just praying for healing.
I woke this morning – bright and early – to the C-Man at 5:15AM.
As I got out of bed, I had a shooting pain in my upper back. Tears! Debilitating pain. I could barely move. Pain.
I asked G to rub some icy-hot on my upper back with the hopes of it loosening up whatever it is that is going on causing me the pain.
I was in so much pain I felt as if I were going to throw up: warm feeling, deep breathing, etc…
As G was rubbing my upper back… the next thing I know I am laying on the floor of the bathroom with G frantically (with sheer panic in his voice) yelling my name inches from my face.
When I came to, I was completely out of it.
How did I get on the floor? Was it because it helped my back feel better?
Why is G yelling my name? What happened?
I took some ibuprofen and am taking it easy today.
I am happy to report that I am able to move without wincing (as much) now. I am still in pain when I move too quickly (especially my right side).
I plan on doing alot of stretching, slow movements… and just relax and take care of me.
Mommy canNOT faint again with the three littles home alone with her (Daddy is working today).
Praying for a speedy healing in my upper back… as well as a great calm, relaxing day with my children.
