Running gives me the freedom and release I need to let go of my stresses and worries. I like my runs to be as carefree and non inhibiting as much as possible. Meaning, I do not like when my gear rubs, jostles, and gets in my way of reaching the MUCH NEEDED endorphin rush.
I am a nursing mom, and there have been runs when the girls are full to the brim. My attempt to combat that issue was to double bag the girls and head out. Unfortunately, more often than not that technique resulted in rubbing the under side of my uders raw (chaffing).
I have also experienced chaffing on my inner thighs and upper arms (where my iPod is strapped). OUCH!
I am no stranger to chaffing.
I was sent 2Toms Sport Shield to review.
I was eager to put it to good use. I have used a similar product in the past (Body Glide) that has saved my skin in multiple places. My review of 2Toms will be comparing Body Glide to Sport Shield.
My Review:
-
I really like the roll on applicator. It rolls on smooth and is silky to the touch. The applicator is similar to that of Avon’s children’s soap.
-
It is not bulky or thick like Body Glide. It rolls on smooth and evenly.
If you are someone who has suffered from unwanted chaffing, I think you would benefit from giving 2Toms Sport Shield a try!
Would you like to TRY it yourself? You can WIN one from ME!

I haven’t really found my soulmate exercise yet. I’m loving my walking dvd and ea sports active 2 and I’m making it a goal to run a 5k. Chafing can be a problem with having a large chest and sometimes the thighs rubbing.

I have 2 soulmate exercises: running and spinning. Spinning gives me very little problems. I had some inner thigh chaffing once from the instructor doing a whole 45 minute class based on sprints! OUCH!
Running…that’s a whole other story. I run half marathons and as much as I love that distance…my body doesn’t. I am a 5’1″ tall girl with 34DDD “girls.” I am usually a bloody mess from the chaffing after running that distance. It’s terrible! But, I’m not about to give up my love of running. I just need to find other alternatives to help like a good chaffing cream 😉

Girl, I think you and I are similar in build! I am 5’2″ when I stand “really really” tall. I am a nursing mama with 34 E girls… and usually I don’t have the luxury of having them both the same size (nurse one size then head out for a run… nurse the other when I return). 😛

I used to be as big as a 36F but thankfully over the last year I have lost 45lbs. along with that went the “girls.” I won’t say I miss them either! It’s nice to buy clothes that fit my frame. As you can probably agree…they seem to think shorter girls must not have big chests…they are wrong! 🙂

My soulmate exercise has not been identified yet. Mainly because it changes with my mood. I have had some chaffing issues when running at times in certain outfits. Not something I care to experience often. ouch!
