Happy Friday! I am participating in my friend, Fit Mom in Training’s 10 in 10 series: 10 posts, 10 lists, 10 days. Yesterday was the first writing prompt, things I am thankful for. Today is day two, reasons why I blog.
-
I blog for Accountability. I share my goals (family, faith, fitness) on my blog and it helps hold me to my goals.
-
I blog for Motivation. I hope that in some way I can help motivate others who read my blog… because I know that my readers (You!) help motivate me to keep going!
-
I blog for Inspiration. Along the same lines of motivation, I hope that I inspire at least one to do something they never thought possible. I know that I have been inspired by reading some of my favorite blogs.
-
I blog to keep my Sanity. I am a busy stay-at-home-mom with three small children who vie for my attention. I need to get my words out somehow through out the day… and blogging does the trick for me.
-
I blog to share my Faith. I don’t preach here, but having an outlet to share my beliefs is very important to me.
-
I blog for Family – This is a great way to keep records of the fun/silly things we do as a family, as well as the quirky, life lessons that I struggle with as a mom.
- I blog for my Fitness – I use my blog as a way to keep a record of my journey & goals. I find this extremely beneficial to keep me accountable, motivated and inspired.
- I blog to find and rekindle Friendships – Through my blog, I am able to share what I am doing (fitness, family, faith) as well as rekindle old friendships.
- I blog to share my weight loss journey. My journey is not over, and I like having a place to share my weight loss journey (success and struggles).
- I blog for ME and YOU! Although I write primarily for me… I am thankful that I do have some loyal readers. If it weren’t for you, I doubt I would be as frequent with my writing. Thank you!
Feel free to link up with Fit Mom in Training and share your ten reasons why YOU blog!

Awesome 10 reasons! Being physically active myself, I really liked #7. It’s a great way to document what you do everyday weather it’s going on a family bike ride or swim some laps on a nice sunny day. The last reason you is actually the idea behind a site I started called http://www.WhyIBlog.com and I would love to know what everyone thinks and see if we could help get some of your thoughts on the site as well. Thanks!

Love this! I’ve been considering writing a post like this, just generally about why I blog. I think to those who don’t blog, it seems odd to write about your life every day. All good reasons you have too!
