The past few months, I have been struggling with finding ME. I know that Rachel is somewhere under the spit up, snotted on, sticky finger marked clothes. Rachel is hidden somewhere inside the dark circled eyes, uneven complexion, and morning breath. Rachel used to smile and laugh often. Where is she?
I am on a quest to find ME again.
I am super excited to be taking part in the #MeFirst Project. Over the course of the next six weeks, I will be working with Rebecca Scritchfield and her team. We will be focusing on taking care of ME… putting #mefirst during my day. She had me at, “Are you a tired, frazzled, over worked mom?”
You are taking care of everyone you love… You deserve your “me” time each day to take care of YOU. Eating well, exercising, and having fun are the secrets to having more energy and getting what you want out of life. But how do you figure out what to do, how much time do you need to make a difference, and who will support you when you feel like you’re doing the impossible?
I am looking forward to learning from this project, learning how to put my needs first… and to have fun again. I feel that I have the fitness/movement aspect down for her program… where I I am excited to learn is the FUN and FOOD portion.
More importantly… I am excited to find me again!
Stay tuned each week as I update my journey with this project.
