I run for chocolate too!!! Hi Twin!! 😀 lol seriously I think I have a problem lol. I need to get rid of the extra Halloween candy because it’s too hard to resist sometimes.
Haha! Girl, I am right there with you! I have our candy stash above the fridge… so I have to get on a chair to reach it (too much work for this lazy mama) 😉
I’m just starting but it’s to prove that I can do it. I was always the kid who skiooed gym class but would workout for two hours before school by myself. Now that I’m older I feel like I missed out on the social aspects of being active and now would like to join in on the fun.

I don’t run but chocolate (and coffee for me lol) is a good reason to do lots of things.

Yes, coffee and chocolate are good motivators, aren’t they!? 🙂

I run for all of the above – and the freedom and strength I get from it. But the calorie burn is certainly a component of that. 🙂

Fantastic point!! Thanks for sharing! 🙂

Do you run races or run with a running group/club? That is a great way to add in social to running. <3
Carli says
Neither yet. There are no running clubs by me but we do have quite a few races. I think I’ll be comfortable eniough to start racing next year.
Rachel says
Bummer! Hopefully when you sign up for a race you will meet a super special running friend to connect with! 🙂 PRoud of you!!

As a stay-at-home Mom, I run for my sanity, lol

Wow, so many reasons to run. Chocolate is a good one, but I have to say my #1 reason is the confidence boost.
Rachel says
Oooh great reason! I love the confidence boost (and overall great feeling) I get after/during a run also! 🙂

That’s so funny. I have a friend who is a real foodie and I always tease him and say that the only reason he works out is so he can eat!
