Studies have shown that protein is a vital part of a well balanced diet. Just like everything in life, one must make sure they maintain a healthy balance with protein. Too much and it is a bad thing. Too little and it is a bad thing. However, for most Americans (myself included) we do not consume enough of the daily recommendation of protein.
Did you know that 10 – 15% of our daily calories are supposed to come from a protein source!?
I know that I struggle with getting enough protein in my diet. Protein is a great piece of the puzzle for recovery after a hard workout. Protein helps keep you full longer. Protein helps you lose weight. Protein helps your muscles recover faster. Protein is good for you.
I was a sent a box of goodies from Premier Protein to review (and share with you). Premier Protein makes shakes and bars that have been all about energy for every day, packed with lots of protein, but non of the extra calories, fat and sugar. This is perfect for a meal replacement or a snack.
The boys and I have been digging into our premier protein box and have been enjoying every bite and sip. I think that the chocolate bars are the boys and my favorite. Hands down.
I have tried many different type of protein bars over the past few years. These bars have good flavor, texture, and satisfy. Honestly, they taste very much like other protein bars we have tried in the past. Which is a good thing, because we liked those protein bars also.
I am excited to share with you that FIVE LUCKY READERS will be receiving a Premier Protein Goodie Box with full-sized products to sample. In the goodie box you will receive:
* 6 Premier Protein meal replacement bars: 2 bars in each flavor
