As a mom of three little boys, I welcome (with open arms) products that will engage and entertain the boys for a few minutes during the day. I am even more excited when a product gives mama a few minutes of much needed quiet.
I was recently sent the Glow Crazy Doodle Dome to review. My boys were super excited and couldn’t wait to check out what was in the box. Of course they were super excited to figure out that it was a tent. A tent that was super dark inside. And you had a super cool looking flash light pen…. that you could write on the tent wall. Score!
The doodle dome is a portable glow art studio from Techno Source. With the Glow Crazy light pen children can draw, write and play games on the dome’s special inner glow wall. Kids can put on light shows for their family and friends, use stencils to create cool glow scenes, make silly silhouettes using their hands, toys or even their friends. The doodle dome gives children an outlet to be creative. They can “glow over” their creations or wait till their art fades to begin again.
The tent easily folds down to a small size that fits in a black bag. This bag can hold the special glow light, stencils and instructions. This was one of my favorite details of the product because it can be stored almost anywhere because of the small size.
When I first took the glow dome out of the box, the boys were super excited. I found that I had to separate the boys and give them turns playing with it. It is for ages 3+ but it is also for small children. I fit in the tent, but it was a challenge fitting anyone else in to see my glow art.
Two out of the three boys were able to fit in at the same time. However, we only had one glow light… which caused some friction. Once I made the rule that only one person at a time in the tent, the boys had a great time creating and playing.
I have been using the glow crazy doodle dome as one of my stations for homeschooling. This is where the little boys can be creative with their art as well as practice writing their letters in a fun, unique and different way.
Checkout this quick video to see (someone else’s kids) in action with the doodle dome. You can get an idea of the size and the glow fun I have mentioned above.
Would you (or your kiddos) like to try their artistic hand at glow art!? Fill out the form below for your chance to win your own glow dome! Good Luck!
Giveaway is available for one U.S. winner . I received a glow crazy doodle dome for sole purpose to review. All opinions are my own. No compensation was received.
