A fellow blogger, Cook Train Eat Race, put together an online Marathon challenging the online world to get active, get moving… and run a marathon (or half).
The kicker was you had to cover the distance of a marathon (or half) over the course of TWO weeks.
A few of my friends and I decided to take on this challenge and run the cupcake marathon. I was ambitious and signed up for the FULL marathon (26.2 miles in two weeks).
This decision was made BEFORE the rain and wind storms blew in northern California. Needless to say, MOST of my runs were in the rain, cold, and WICKED WIND that we have been bombarded with the past 2 weeks. But I can say that I finished. I finished STRONG. I did it.
Below are my run stats from the past two weeks.
Total Miles: 28.39
