Here in northern California, our winters are wet wet wet! All the rain brings loads of fun puddles to splash in and mud puddles to get messy in.
I had the great intention this spring to reseed my backyard. Unfortunately, my boys decided that playing in the mud (the places where the seedlings were placed) was more fun.
I tried to stop them. Yet, they were determined to play in the mud and make the biggest mess possible.
They “painted” their play house with mud. They “painted” each other with mud!
At least I convinced them to take off their nice clothes and strip down to their skivvies.
Perhaps I should take a lesson from my children and get messy and enjoy the MESSY MUD life throws at me from time to time.

What a great mom of you to let them enjoy that! If only we were more child like right? Life would be more fun if we took time to enjoy things once in a while!!

That looks like SO much fun!
Grass is so grossly over-rated 😉

LOL! To cute! I cann’t say much I also enjoyed playing in a really big mud hole with my cousins at that age! Our grandmother was not very happy with us, so we got hosed off with the garden hose.
Hey don’t they do mud facials? You shoulda jumped in with them!
