I have been enjoying some super fun workouts as a part of my fall race schedule: Ragnar Relay Napa Valley, Rock N Roll San Jose, and the California International Marathon. The workouts I have been doing and sharing on instagram and facebook have been challenging and fun at the same time.

I don’t belong to a gym because they’re just too damn expensive, as nice as it would be to belong to one. I also would have to drag my butt there, which wasn’t always easy when I did belong.
I’m lucky because my last job was for a fitness company and I was able to buy stuff there CHEAP so I have a good assortment of stuff in my basement, including an elliptical. So I just go out for my runs and then do strength training in the ol’ basement!
Though I may join a cheap gym for a few months this winter just to use a treadmill if needed, but I’d like to continue running outside as long as possible.
