I love coffee. I need coffee. I crave coffee. I am a nicer person after having my coffee in the morning. However, one of the things I do not like about my morning coffee is the slow impression of color it is leaving on my teeth. Coffee is slowly staining my teeth. This is what I do not love about my morning coffee.
Over the years I have tried whitening products that you have to leave on your teeth for a certain amount of time, glob on your teeth, or use ultra violet light. I have used products that you need to use for a few weeks to see results. Mama doesn’t have time for that! Ha!
Recently I was asked to try Colgate Express White toothpaste. I have tried other whitening products in the past, so I figured that I would be up for the challenge! Unlike most whitening toothpastes, Colgate® Optic White® Express White Toothpaste contains the professionally recommended ingredient hydrogen peroxide to whiten faster. Whiter teeth in just 3 days*, just by brushing! Less hassle than other methods! This toothpaste provides an easy and fast way for whiter teeth. Fast.
Plus it makes your breath smell yummy too (according to my husband).
Last week, I headed to my local Walmart to purchase my Colgate® Optic White® Express White . I was excited to see if I would get whiter teeth in 3 days*!
I shopped with the T-man and we found the toothpaste in the beauty section near the pharmacy. They had a nice end cap displaying all of the Colgate® Optic White® Express White products.
We also found the Colgate® Optic White® Express White toothpaste mixed in with all the other toothpaste brands on the shelf. There are a lot of whitening products on the market, but did you know that Colgate Express White Toothpaste has 2 times more of the professionally recommended whitening ingredient (vs. Optic White Sparkling Mint TP)!? They even outdid their own product!
There are 3 sizes available: 3oz & 4.5oz are now available. There will be a 1.45oz travel size will hit select stores on March 14th, this would be a perfect trial size to check out your 3-day whiter teeth experiment!
There will also be a roaming demo in 550 stores on 2/28/15 to promote the new product. Ambassadors will be roaming the aisles giving out $1 off coupons good on Express White Toothpaste. You can check to see if this demo will be at your local Walmart by checking this store list.
I have been using this toothpaste for only two days. I can tell the toothpaste is working, it must be that hydrogen peroxide! I am hopeful that with continued use, my teeth will be sparkly white like the snow covered ground that is all around me lately… just not those yellow spots. Ha!
So for now, I will continue to enjoy and drink my coffee and tea. I will brush with the Colgate® Optic White® Express White toothpaste knowing that my teeth will be healthy and white. No more little children asking why Mommy (or Daddy’s) teeth are yellow… mommy will have white teeth! Yay!
Do you enjoy your coffee and tea… yet want whiter teeth?
Have you ever used a whitening toothpaste or product?
*For best results, use as directed for 4 weeks

Okay I love coffee but hate how yellow it makes my teeth (in addition to the red wine!) So I will give this a try!

I love coffee, but I agree sometimes my teeth aren’t the whitest. I will have to try this particular toothpaste out 🙂
Kathryn @ Dancing to Running says
I have tried a couple of different teeth whitening products before, with very little success. I might have to try this Colgate toothpaste out!
Jen @ Pretty Little Grub says
I could definitely use this! I am a coffee, tea and red wine drinker so my teeth get stained easily.
Patty @ Reach Your Peak says
Interesting! I started using white strips last summer but I can only use them for 2-3 days before my gums get SO sensitive. So I should try this and hopefully a toothpaste would work better.

I was just thinking that it was about time for me to do another whitening treatment….but this looks waaay better! I hate the way those film things feel on my teeth.

This is a great solution for coffee lover. They do not worry any more about their teeth while enjoying their coffee in the morning.
Rachel, could this product work for smokers too?
Rachel says
Thanks. And regarding your question, I don’t see why not. Whitening is whitening. 🙂

I love my coffee. Especially since getting my aeropress. As I’ve stopped using cream and sugar, I’ve definitely noticed my teeth aren’t as pearly as I’d like (the red wine probably isn’t helping 🙂 ). I’ve used whiteners in the past but didn’t find they were living up to the hype. I’ve had much better success using an apple cider vinegar and baking soda treatment once per month.

I am not a coffee or tea drinker but we could all use a whiter smile right? Great review of this product. I had seen ads and was curious!

I would love to try this product but I am wondering how it is for people with sensitive teeth?
