Happy November! Or as I am calling it New-Vember! New month. New beginning. New mindset. New focus. New start. New intentions. New results. New!
I love fresh starts. I find that I am more motivated to start something when there is a clean slate.
For me, new months or the beginning of a new week, or even the beginning of a new year are great times to start fresh.
November 1st is a tricky time to start fresh. I know that I am coming off a huge sugar high from eating too much of my children’s candy last night (and today to be honest). We have Thanksgiving at the end of this month too! All the delicious and guilty food pleasures. All the temptations.
All the more reason to stay focused with this new mindset with sharing goals.
The past few weeks, I have been sharing my struggle with fitting in fitness with our busy schedule as I adjust to re-entering the workforce. My appreciation for working mama’s and how they fit in fitness is beyond words!
For me, the only time during my day that I can fit in a workout (even a short one) is early in the morning.
I am sharing with you my NEW MONTH Fitness goal. With the hopes that at the end of the month, I will be able to share with you new results from my healthy changes this month.
My goal is to wake at 5:15 when my husband leaves for work. At that time I will start the coffee (priorities, right!?), do a 30 minute workout from the 21 Day Fix series, shower, and then get ready for work. I need to be dressed and ready to entertain more little boys (I watch a friend’s 3 boys before school) by 7AM.
Bring on the crazy! I am determined to give this a go. I would love if you helped hold me accountable!
Regarding nutrition, I do best with consistency and repetition. Too much flexibility and I tend to go off the deep end… hello Halloween candy or chocolate chip cookies!

Your organization and focus is an inspiration to this mother of 3 and live in MIL….I have struggled with working out since my first son was born 10 years ago and have gotten in a better mode this summer…just trying to incorporate in home work out rather than running outside as snow will be here soon! Keep up the great focus, God will be your strength and guide, lean on him!
